What is Saperta?
Saperta is an app for iPhone and the web that lets advertisers manage their own OpenAI Ads account, the advertising platform for ads in ChatGPT. It adds hourly schedules, automatic rules, reports and a clear view of today's spend, and lets you pause campaigns and change budgets from your phone.
Is Saperta made by OpenAI?
No. Saperta is an independent product made in Innsbruck, Austria. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by OpenAI. It uses OpenAI's official Advertiser API.
What does Saperta cost?
Saperta is currently free.
Can I try it without an OpenAI Ads account?
Yes. After signing up, tap "Explore with sample data" on the Connect screen to see every feature with a realistic demo account.
How do I connect my OpenAI Ads account?
Create an Advertiser API key in OpenAI Ads Manager under Settings, then paste it into Saperta or scan it as a QR code. Keys from platform.openai.com don't work with the Ads API.
Why does today's spend show €0 in OpenAI Ads?
OpenAI reports clicks and impressions within about an hour but only reports spend once it is billed, usually the next day. Saperta shows an estimate until then: today's clicks multiplied by your recent cost per click.
Can I schedule ChatGPT ads by hour?
The OpenAI Ads API has no built-in hour-of-day scheduling. Saperta adds it: you pick the hours in a weekly grid, and its server pauses and resumes the campaign at those hours, in your ad account's timezone.
Do schedules and rules work when my phone is off?
Yes. They run on Saperta's server: schedules are checked every minute, rules every 10 minutes.
Can rules guarantee I won't overspend?
No. Rules act on the newest data OpenAI provides, which can be delayed, so spend can exceed a rule's limit. The daily budget you set in OpenAI remains the hard limit.
Does Saperta run campaigns for me?
No. Saperta is a self-service tool. It only carries out what you do in the app or set up there, such as schedules and rules.
Is my API key safe?
The key is stored encrypted on Saperta's server in Frankfurt, never logged or displayed, and deleted as soon as you disconnect the account or delete your login.
Which languages and devices are supported?
English, German, French, Italian and Spanish. Saperta runs in any browser at app.saperta.com, and the iPhone app is coming to the App Store.
Which timezone do schedules use?
Your ad account's timezone, as set in OpenAI Ads Manager. Saperta shows it on every schedule.
How do I delete my account?
In the app, open Settings and tap Delete account. Your login, connected ad accounts, stored keys, schedules, rules and activity are deleted. Your campaigns in OpenAI Ads are not changed.
